Join us for Oxfam presents VOxjam

Oxjam is all about the people; the volunteers, the artists and performers and, of course, the audience. We started out in 2006 with the aim of creating a network of music loving people across the UK, and since then have hosted more than 60,000 musicians playing to an audience of over 1.5 million people.

Oxjam is a unique grassroots festival, run by volunteers and uniting music fans under a shared goal and vision: to raise money for Oxfam and fight poverty and inequality across the world. In short, Oxjam celebrates and supports local music, while having a global impact. Now that’s something we can all get behind.

“My passion and desire to do something great for charity gave me all the confidence I needed to have a go at things I never thought I could do. I loved meeting new volunteers and friends, listening to awesome musicians and feeling proud of bringing my town together through music.” Kerry Brown, Oxjam Aldershot Takeover Manager, 2015

The wonderful Mr Jukes joined the Oxjam family in 2017 by playing the Oxfam Emporium in Manchester to kick off Oxjam 2017. He joined the likes of Annie Mac, Metronomy, Four Tet and Marika Hackman in supporting the UK’s largest grassroots music festival.
