Glastonbury – part rite of passage, part national treasure. This vast, diverse, unique experience is a long-standing cornerstone of the UK festival circuit and the international music scene. Glastonbury invited Oxfam along for the first time in 1993, and have proudly supported us ever since. Join us this year to celebrate Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary!
We have our own crew campsite, equipped with:
- A marquee as a community space for volunteers.
- Free boiling water, plus tea and coffee supplies.
- Free phone charging facilities to keep you connected.
- Access to crew loos & hot showers.
- A meal token per shift.
Glastonbury's huge Kidzfield is a festival within a festival, featuring top names from the world of children's entertainment, funfair rides, soft play, and plenty more.
If you want to bring a child to Glastonbury, you need to follow our kids procedure outlined here.
For children aged 13-17, you also need to buy a children's ticket through Glastonbury's website.
Children who are 12 and under are free and don't need a ticket at all, but you must still fill in our forms to let us know you're bringing them.
If you want to use public transport, Oxfam run a shuttle bus service from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station directly to the Oxfam Campsite. Buses run to site on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th, and run back again in the evening of Sunday 30th and the morning of Monday 1st. You can book a ticket on the bus on your application profile. Tickets cost £25 to cover costs, and which is deducted from your volunteering deposit, and cover both directions (even if you don't use both).
Please note! Glastonbury puts a lot of traffic on the roads, and the shuttle buses back to Temple Meads after the festival can be subject to substantial delays, so please book your onward travel accordingly. We strongly recommend booking an open return railway ticket so you're not tied to a particular serice.
If you want to bring a car, motorbike, or live-in vehicle to Glastonbury, you must ensure you have told us this on your application profile before the cancelation deadline, because we need to post you a routing pass.
